Delivery of goods by carrier.
All goods delivered on behalf of Gym Ratz by any third party carrier are insured against damage during door-to-door transit/delivery. The receiver of the goods should carefully inspect all packaging for signs of damage or apparent damage upon receipt of goods. If the packaging is in anyway whatsoever, torn, crushed, missing in part or whole, or the goods themselves are damaged in anyway whatsoever, or missing in part or whole, then the third party Carrier's delivery note should under NO CIRCUMSTANCES be signed as 'Recieved in good condition' If the receiver of the goods is unsure or suspect about the goods having been damaged, then the third party Carrier's delivery note should not be signed! Instead, the receiver should clearly write on the delivery note 'GOODS RECEIVED DAMAGED' and include all details of the damage (including carton numbers, item descriptions and a description of the damage/missing parts).
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE RECEIVER ACCEPT ANY DAMAGED GOODS AND SIGN FOR THEM AS PER NORMAL DELIVERY. FAILURE TO INSPECT DELIVERED GOODS UPON ARRIVAL WILL INVALIDATE ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE CARRIER AND A CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION!

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

Returns and Exchanges

All goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full product refund excluding actual cost of delivery deemed to be £120 for treadmills, £70 for elliptical trainers & £50 for exercise bikes & rowing machines where goods are returned or order cancelled after goods have been dispatched and despatch costs are not reimbursable by dispatching agent. No items will be accepted for re-fund without a returns number allocated by GymRatz. Return of goods to customer will be at customers expense.

Returns will only be accepted by prior arrangement and may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee at GymRatz discretion.

Full cost of return will be the responsibility of the customer once goods have been accepted/received at customers delivery address.

It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure goods return un-damaged , and un-used, within original packing and in an "as new" condition. Adequate insurance cover should be taken out in case of goods returning damaged or un-saleable.

Should goods return damaged, the returnee should claim for cost of goods from their carrier. If goods are returned without returns number or authorisation by GymRatz a reasonable handling charge not exceeding 10% of goods value will be added to cost of returning goods. All goods returned to GymRatZ as unauthorised returns will be held for a period not exceeding 3 months before being disposed of at customers expense.

Delivery Times
Delivery: The delivery time stated on this web site is an estimate only and shall not be considered a contractual obligation. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by the Buyer due to the Company's inability to maintain the delivery times so stated. The Goods will be at the Buyers risk when delivered to the Buyer (please refer to note 'DELIVERY OF GOODS BY A THIRD PARTY CARRIER'). The Company's obligation to deliver Goods is subject to circumstances beyond the Company's control as (but not limited to) strike, floods, fires, machine breakdown or any other conditions of force majeure.
