Yes, the 'F' stands for folding. Perhaps not as aesthetically pleasing as the
non-folding T-series Life Fitness treadmills, the F3 does not sacrifice the
build quality for the folding mechanism. Featuring the reliable 3.0hp MagnaDrive
motor and FlexDeck absorption system as seen amongst the majority of the T-series.
When compared to the T3-0 Treadmill you're getting a slightly shorter (55")
running length and both the top speed (10mph) and highest incline (12%) have
been reduced slightly. So, the F3 is of benefit if you require a folding treadmill
for practicality & want the best available. Otherwise, review the T-series
models.
The "Basic" and "Advanced" tag refers to the console featured
on the treadmill. As the name Basic would suggest, the Basic console offers
basic programmes, feedback & fewer touch buttons. Whilst the Advanced allows
for greater interaction. Your choice should be made on whether you require the
additional motivation and/or the differing programmes (in particular heart rate
